HomeFlowerMed.jpg (7982 bytes) Welcome to Sustainable Ypsilanti! We hope you will continue your journey toward a sustainable future with us by visiting, blogging or possily becoming active in some of the local organizations to which we've linked (if you aren't already)!  This is a totally volunteer driven site, with he goal of connecting our community memebers, like you, to all of the wondeful organizations that are already tackling transitional issues of sustainability. We are continually amazed and impressed by the dedicated folks around us who are leading us in a better direction.

In an effort to organize our links and information, we have created a Sustainable Ypsilanti flower (inspired by the Permaculture Principles flower), representing some of the key issues in which we can all make a positive difference, individually and together.

Please share this site with others who aim for a Sustainable Ypsilanti!  Enjoy!

About Sustainable Ypsilanti: a group of Transition Ypsi folks decided that we might all benefit from having one good online reference for all of our fantastic local organizations and resources!  So, here you have it...so far.  It will be growing as we hear more from you and others about wonderful locals doing good for a Sustainable Ypsilanti! P.S. We are including organizations that are beyond Ypsilanti as well (Ann Arbor, Washtenaw County, and even some statewide organizations). We just happend to be Ypsi people who want to spread the word locally, but we are definitely not excluding everyone out there who is making a difference!
